Here we have an old (early to mid 20th century), leather necklace from the Fulani or Wodaabe people. The three leather focals with the tassels are attached to a beaded necklace with colorful beads. The closure is a hook and eye closure. These necklaces are traditionally worn by the young women to attract handsome men. Measurements are: Total length: 51cm (20") Weight: 15gr.
