A beautiful and large antique Turkmen Asyk amulet. The front of the amulet has a carnelian set into ornate frame and gilded ornamental parts. The silver has patina. These amulets were exchanged amongst lovers as a token of love (aşık). You can wear this amulet with a leather cord or of course you can incorporate it into your own jewelry creation.
