Fantastic Tibetan sterling silver (stamped 925) gau (also spelled Ghau or Gao) prayer box pendant adorned with turquoises and corals. The backside is plain with the Dorje depicted and 925 stamp. This prayer box is used to hold and carry powerful amuletic objects. Used in Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and Mongolia. A most beautiful example of a Tibetan Gau.
