Bold Tibetan silver Gau (also spelled Ghau or Gao) prayer box pendant adorned with greenish-blue turquoises and one coral in the center. The backside is plain and made of copper. It can be opened and closes securely. This prayer box is used to hold and carry powerful amuletic objects. Used in Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and Mongolia. A most beautiful example of a Tibetan Gau.
