Hilal (crescent moon) or salhat amulet from Siwa Oasis, Egypt. It has engravings on the front side. This is a nice medium sized one, with a large hole to string in easily with a leather cord. These amulets were worn as good luck and protection talismans. This high grade silver amulet is in great condition with a good wearable size.
